What does my name say about me?
Hi! I’m Cheryl Estorgio. “Cheryl†- a French origin which means “beloved†or “darlingâ€. My friends call me “che”, “chepay”, and damsel. Many things at different points in my life, I am a true chameleon: very adaptable. Free spirit, unpredictable, adventurous, little surprising, practical, status oriented, power-seeking, high-material goals and resent anyone who tries to fence me {let me think about it}.
I started working after I finished college. My Father died when I was in first year high school. That was the turning point in my life. I took the responsibility as the breadwinner in the family. That’s why I grew up fiercely independent. Facing all the hardships in life made me a tough person. My journey now take me to the life I always dream of but still continuously sailing unknowingly terrified on what lies ahead of me. Life is an on-going battle. I have to open my book and write every chapter of it. I must continue the race with perseverance!
DAMSEL AT WORK
I liked to work at home but I am more challenge to travel so I moved to Makati, for new opportunities, and challenges. And I missed Bukidnon; my hometown. I been working before as a teacher, researcher, medical secretary and ventured in Search Engine Optimization (seo), link building, internet marketing for quiet three years now and started blogging two years ago. I loved my work and enjoyed every moment of it. I might be just like you apart from the fact that I am a frustrated doctor- my long time dream when I was a little girl. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Biology at Central Mindanao University.
The nature of my work in the IT industry seems resemblance in doing applied research in the lab. My laptop is like a laboratory where I could do a continuous research of information in the web. Damsel Quest is the virtual me – my microscope, somewhat like assembling the pieces of the web’s puzzle. I’m a workaholic person, for me the true way to render ourselves happy is to love our work and find in it our pleasure. Work while we have the light. We are responsible for the talent that has been entrusted to us.

I would admit, I am an emotional person, full of mystery, sensuality and enthusiasm. I am capable of hiding my true feelings and motivations. I had this persuasive and prevailing drive to accomplish something and astounding dedication. Behind the nutshell, I am secretive and full of mystery. I want a close committed relationship because when I love someone, it would be deeply and intensely (sweet about me).
