Mamma Mia! The Movie
I went to see Mamma Mia! The Movie last night with Mr. Busby Seo Challenge .The most fun I’ve had at the cinema in years! I laughed so much even till the end! For me, it was an evening of wholesome fun that was worth seeing again and again! If only I could bring with me my mom who is an ABBA avid fan, I’m sure she will adore the movie. I challenge anyone to have left without a huge smile on their face. It is a must see experience with extraordinary entertaining movie!
Synopsis:
The story takes place on a Greek island. Sophie, a 20-year old English girl, discovers her mother’s old diary and finds entries which describe intimate dates with three men. Sophie believes that one of these men is her father, and sends each an invitation to her wedding without letting her mother know.
Sophie has just one wish that will make her wedding perfect to meet her father. It’s almost her wedding day and she doesn’t know who her father is. It could be any of 3 of her mother’s (Meryl Streep) *past* suitors? Is he Sam Carmichael (an American architect) or Harry Bright (a British banker), and Bill Austin (an Australian writer).Whichever one he is! Sophie had hoped that she would know her father the moment she saw him, but she is more confused now than ever.
The issue of Sophie’s family is finally settled, or rather left unsettled, as none of them have any idea whether they are actually her father; everyone involved agrees that it does not matter which is her biological parent, as Sophie loves all three and they are all happy to be “one-third of a father” and a part of her life at last.
