The Damsel Journey
I’ve been in a very long journey, walking a far distance, crossing bridges, soaring the sky, and sailing unknowingly terrified. That was me! Beyond enemy lines to battle all my fears and plight. Life is full of surprises, triumphs, despairs, hopes and love. You must be strong and press on towards the goal when things go beyond your expectation.
I would situate myself a damsel of those trying situation I have, like in a European fairy tales frequently features damsels like Rapunzel trapped in a tower, Sleeping Beauty laid in sleep, and Snow White ensorcelled into a magical sleep. In all of these fairy tales, a valiant prince comes to the maiden’s aid, saves her, and marries her. To my surprise, it was just my fantasy.
